Broad spectrum SPF50 blocks both UVA and UVB, the rays responsible for burning and for the deeper damage that triggers hyperpigmentation. Our UVA filters carry the highest rating for pigmentation protection (PA++++), without the harsh actives that irritate sensitive, deeper skin.
You won't need a moisturiser underneath. Three ingredients do the work: sodium hyaluronate penetrates deeper than standard hyaluronic acid, since it's a smaller molecule, while shea and jojoba lock in moisture and reinforce the skin barrier, the same barrier that, when weak, makes hyperpigmentation worse.
Skin of colour is more prone to hyperpigmentation, dryness and irritation, and each one feeds the next: dry, irritated skin scars darker and takes longer to fade. We didn't adapt a formula to fit that. We built one starting from it.
Use at least 1/4 teaspoon or two fingers' worth of sunscreen on your face and neck, daily. Remember, you can use this as your moisturiser. Reapply throughout the day, as needed. (When in direct sunlight, once every two hours).

I love this sunscreen! I usually use La Roche Posay but tbh this is better, it’s much lighter and leave your skin moisturised but not greasy at all, it’s a staple in my skincare now.
